This is by far the best 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen LAX . Style pizza in the Bay Area!!! It's very small with only two tiny tables. You have to order at least 1 1/2 hrs before because the owner is the only one who makes the pizza. But it's well worth it trust me. The pizza crust is thin and perfectly crispy and it tastes delicious. The homemade sausage is out of this world. This is my favorite thin crust pizza in Berkeley !!! This is a must try for any foodie!800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen LAX
Rudest staff I've ever experienced! They understood something wrong and started insulting (!) us although we were super calm. You should really think about how to deal with people - being respectless doesn't make your life better.
It would be good, if they would not burn the bottom of two of our pizzas... it tasted like coal, i should have asked for replacement, but I was really hungry... tomato sauce is really good, mozzarella also, very kind that you can take as much Parmesan as you want, so plus for that. But overall taste was burned dough. Thanks for that 👌🏻
far to expensive, few taste, flat bread
Good pizza and they made it fast. Expensive soda and beer 🍺
Good pizza a little high priced but good for the airport.
Actually not bad. Slightly on the expensive side but it is LAX, possibly my most hated terminal in the world. The other places charge a fortune, $30 for tacos for example. It was slightly slow but I had over 2 hours to kill so no biggie for me. The pizza, I thought, was pretty good. Way better than the average chain pizza outside. I will for sure be going again.
I've worked for this company at several locations because they randomly shut down locations with no warnings to the workers. This place is set up for failure. The food is not even good and way way over priced. If you wonder why all the workers look miserable that is because they are. Overworked and underpaid topped with underappreciated. The food is not fresh all of it is canned and workers are told to keep the bags, cans, and boxes out of the customers sites. The management is utterly disorganized and have no idea what the term Employee moral means. Stay away from this place.
Not the best. It barely had any cheese on it. Won't recommend
This was good for airport food. The Burger was well cooked but the fries were over cooked.
Pretty good pizza .def worth trying
Worst pizza in years. This was almost like getting tomato infused plain bread. The raw pizzas look pretty. I thought the basil and sprinkled parmesan on top were hidding the right amount of mozzarella and pizza sauce underneath... Wrong! The scarce amount of both made the baked product completely dry, far from what a pizza should be, and additionally, the baked basil turns out bittery and looses all of its grace. They do not allow extra toppings on their four featured pizzas. If you want to create your own, you have to start from a plain base, in which you even pay for the mozzarella, which is a basic component worldwide.
Staff doesn't care, they started my order wrong by making a completely different pizza than what I asked for. The pizza is lacking in quality. Hardly any toppings with the only redeeming feature being a wood fired stove and crispy crust. Super expensive for a personal sized pizza. Not worth your time.
$14 margarita personal pizza, understandable in LAX. Maybe.. I'm being generous here, 50% of the pizza had anything on it. The rest of it was bare crust. Service was great and drinks were not overly expensive for an airport. Overall, in the congested Tom Bradley terminal I would go back for a drink, but might head another direction if I was hungry.
Great food and great service. Everything was top notch, one of the pizza restaurants I have been to. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious as well! Definitely recommend and will come back in the future.
Tasty pizza, the cans of wine are an airport bargain.
Fast, and reasonable for airport restaurant
Pizza... super yummy. Everyone at our table was quite pleased. I will be bringing friends next time.
What should you eat just prior to leaving the states for the "land down under"? Pizza of course... 800 Degrees hit the spot as we could build whatever we would like. Thanks 800!
Outstanding spot for delicious pizza. got there about one, it wasn't busy. it has a nice interior.
Good pizza but very small. Not for sharing.
Good spot for pizza. This place does it for me. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. This place has a great atmosphere. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I loved.
Food is good but the staff fights amongst themselves and the customers. No proffesional what so ever.
Disappointing, unprofessional and incompetent. If I wanted to eat charcoal, I would've lit a bonfire and made it myself. My father ordered 2 pizzas with pepperoni in it and apart from the fact that the pizza tasted like charred wood the pepperoni was incredibly hot, it's like they dropped a flask of tabasco hot sauce on top of the thing. The other pizza wasn't as bad as the first and it tasted rather nice but it still felt as my mouth was on fire because of the pepperoni, in no way at all were we informed by either the staff or a sign that the pepperoni was so spicy. To add insult to injury the staff was incredibly unprofessional and rude.I understand it's a restaurant inside an Airport but that's still no excuse to be slack and give it the bare minimum.
I agree with other reviews. Unfriendly staff. Flavorless pizza. Less topping and a lot of crust. I should have checked the reviews before ordering.
Dont understand sone bad reviews.... this is seriously one of the best pizza's i ever had 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cold pizza. They got my order wrong and overcharged me. Extremely expensive with the quality. Not recommend.
No.4 BBQ Chicken Pizza, worst ever pizza i tried in USA. Very dry chicken, burnt, and no flavor....Never try again 😪
Decent pizza for an airport.
they have the best ever spicy house made sauce that they serve with their dishes and which you can also purchase from them in a bottle (love it)!
WORSE PIZZA EVER! Don't even waste your money and time here. The restaurant and pizza looked pretty decent; that's why I ate here. I should have checked Yelp reviews before eating here. The pizza is PAPER thin and soggy. My boyfriend ordered the Sausage and Peppers and I ordered the Capricciosa. My boyfriend's pizza had HARDLY any meat at all. The sausages that were on the pizza were just tiny little pieces of pretty much nothing. My pizza was just plain salty. I should have spent a little bit more $$ and got the Umami Burger.
Extremely slow service. Only 2 orders in front of us and it took at least 15 minutes for the guy to take our order
When having an international flight this is just a must when you don't want panda or kfc. Eat half and bring it on the plane.
Great Pizza! Very pricey though. Good portion for an individual pizza. Also it's cooked in a 800 degree oven. Hence the name.
Pizza took a long time. At 9pm they had just turned the ovens on. They had no take out boxes which I find unusual for a pizza place but also that’s located inside an airport where people have flights to catch. No dipping sauce. The service wasn’t the best, the pizzas were okay.
Long line to order....take me 1 hour, but pizza it's good
Expensive, bad food. Burned pizza, not what I ordered. No friendly people
The pizza is decent but service is way too slow for fast food and people traveling.
pizza, very delicious. I really loved this place. If it wasn't far from my work I would come by more.
Decent pizza
This was the best airport pizza I had ever had. I would recommend because the Panda Express nearby has a very very long line.
Long line, but it's worth the wait.
Excellent location for delicious pizza. the food was tasty. the place has an awesome atmosphere. they have so many reviews for a reason.
This is a great quick bite at the Tom Bradley international, pizza was good.
Pizza was lacking flavor (lacking cheese and toppings). Long lines and slow service.
Pretty terrible. Slow and half my pizza was missing cheese completely.
This place is amazing they have make your own pizza where you can pick the base the toppings the type of sause but not only do they have make your own pizza they also have make your own salad with a variety of different bases and vegetables to put in it.
It is a great place to eat it has good gluten free pizza but it is pretty pricey
Worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Literally the worst! The only reason it is still in business is because the location of an international airport, which means most people would just had one time in their lives........
Very poor service. I ordered a medium drink to go with my pizza but changed my mind after seeing the 3:50 charge for a medium coke. However the lady at the counter said it is not possible to cancel the drink which I found to be very shady and slimy. Left a poor taste with the experience.
